About The CountryThe Czech Republic is located in the very heart of Europe, and is closer to the UK than - amongst others - Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
The Czech Republic has taken full advantage of its geographical location to attract business, students, educational exchanges and tourists from many countries, while at the same time maintaining its traditional historic charm.
In 2004, the Czechs became full European Union members, and this has brought with it considerable political and economic benefits for C.M.U.C.A.S. students.
The country contrasts rolling hills and countryside with historic cities which combine some of the most attractive architecture in the world with numerous big brands and nightspots.
Much to the surprise of many first-time visitors the country has now settled into a progressive EU nation.
One of the many advantages of studying in Central Europe is that students have easy access to a number of countries.
Students have an opportunity to visit Vienna or Berlin for weekends or the many beautiful villages and towns along the borders, or take a weekend skiing at one of the local ski resorts.
Education is highly prized in the Republic and in all cities and towns in the initiative there is a tangible sense of pride in their respective institutions.
